As computer scientists we are trained to communicate with the dumbest things in the world – computers – so you’d think we’d be able to communicate quite well with people. If you had and still have a paid-for copy of Office on the computer, what youre seeing is probably a trial version of Office 365 that was installed by mistake during an update. The price is only slightly more if you buy them now in an Office bundle.
If there is any chance you will need Excel or Powerpoint you should buy a copy of Office.
